I really enjoy using this monopod. The construction quality was perfect except that the rubber handle on top seemed to move more than it should. The slight mobility in the upper portion of the rubber handle has not posed an issue at all and may be as designed, but felt as if that portion should be as firm as the lower portion of the handle. Otherwise the monopod construction is everything you'd expect from Manfrotto and kept my SLR with 300mm lens steady and the quick snap releases made it easy to open quickly.
