Small in size which allows more options for placement and harder to see to deter theft. The attachment to view photos and make changes in options is not the handiest but does work. The photos are clear, more so than I expected. One problem, which is true of any camera, is when the area being covered by the camera is darker (shadows, for example) than the background, the pictures will be slightly dark. Try to aim it at foliage as a background and the photos will be better. Be sure there are no small branches or other object near the camera that can swing into its view. The wind will trigger it each time the object blows in front of the sensor. Overall nice camera for the money.
