I use this device for a few of my camera systems. The Panasonic GH3 and GH2, Canon HFG30, and Canon 60D. This is a fantastic audio system that works as a passive audio splitter and a multi cold shoe mount. It's extremely light, but solid build quality. Yes, there is a hiss if your camera's audio is turned up all the way, BUT if you send a hot signal into the device and turn your camera's audio level down to it's lowest setting, you will NOT hear a noticeable hiss. That is the secret.

The Beachtek MCC-2 has been my most useful purchase I've made this year. I use it every time I want two independent tracks of audio into my DSLR.
