I've owned a 650DV for nearly four years. Just purchased a second one, that should say it all. It's lightweight, very sturdy, and has very smooth motion but is not loose at all. I can really think of no negatives about this tripod, it's fantastic for video at the price point.

I also purchased the Libec 950DV and I like the 650 better, it's much more portable and lighter, and just as sturdy. This is an under-appreciated gem!! Get it, and you will be very satisfied.
