Redfield Revenge 4-12x42mm Rifle Scope, Matte Black, Accu-Ranger Reticle 115216Redfield 115216 Revenge Rifle Scope Review
This scope is mounted on my Ruger American Rifle chambered in .308. I bought this scope knowing it is made by Redfield in the Philippines. Redfield is owned by Loupold. Loupold is an American company. Loupold is based in, and manufactures scopes in Beaverton Oregon. I know not much of my money is staying in the US and I'm not super proud of that. However, it did not seem reasonable to put a $600+ scope on my $350 Ruger American Rifle. The scope and rings arrived in the same Amazon box in excellent condition. The Redfield box the scope comes in is sturdy and dose a good job of preventing damage. I mounted the scope on 1" diameter medium height Weaver rings. The scope easily clears the barel and bolt handle. Short rings would likely also clear. Clarity on this scope is excellent. Zoom on this thing is incredible. Elevation and windage adjustments are easy and the clicks are firm and precise. Sighting in from a rest was very easy. I had never sighted a scope before. After one shot and an adjustment to move the sights 2" left and 3" down I was hitting the bullseye. I'm very pleased. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Redfield 115216 Revenge Rifle Scope" are high quality item.
