The description of the scope is INCORRECT -- it is NOT illuminated. Do a search for the Bushnell model number and this will confirm. That said, I ordered the scope, understanding what I was getting, and love it. Don't let the low score on this scope fool you, I think it is only a function of the incorrect description.

It's a great looking scope, inside and out, very clear, and has good controls that are easily adjusted, even with gloves on. Good eye relief that will keep me from getting up close and ringed while firing. I mounted this to my rifle with medium base rings and the fit is perfect; I don't think that low rings would have worked, since the OD of the objective is 60mm, so there is only enough clearance to get the lens cap on after mounting (i.e., clearance between bottom of objective and top of barrel).

The G2 reticle is, IMHO, superior to most other reticles, and offers the informed marksman with superior information at distance. I would definitely buy this scope again.
