WatchDog 15 Review

Lets see, it comes built in with a webserver, humidity detector, and thermometer. That alone is pretty good, but it also come with two expansion ports for two other probes, NICE. It mounted nice to the rack and the SMS/email alerts works well. This would get 5 stars if it additionally had a rudimentary email server to bypass using one, I choose to use my personal Gmail account as its email server but I can see how that would not be the best solution in all cases. To me I wanted an email server that wouldn't be impacted if all the production servers in my environment were down, so this was my answer to that problem. Besides that little rant, great web GUI, easy setup and quick shipping, if you have a server room and want to get alerted before your servers melt down, buy this, its by far the most complete solution and the cheapest!
