  Seller Review:
  Great price and the flash arrived in perfect condition. The batteries included were high powered 2900mAh and the charger was a nice "freebie". The cleaning kit is nothing special. I'll probably pass it along next time I sell something on Ebay.
  
  Dry Land Performance:
  I'm using with Canon SD400 in the AW-DC30 housing. First impression is that the flash is big and heavy. The whole rig together weighs 4 to 5 times the camera alone. Build quality of the flash unit seems quite solid. The flex arm seems a little loose for the weight of the flash, but maybe underwater it will be fine. Gripping the flex arm for an extended period is not too comfortable on the hands and I may try to find some kind of neoprene wrap.
  
  With the camera set to auto or underwater, setting the flash to pre-flash = 2 successfully synched the two without using the cord. Then I electrical taped over the flash to avoid direct head on light and backscatter. The flash still fired without the cord although there is quite a bit of space between the flash and the underwater case so there is bound to be some flash leak despite the electrical tape.
