At first I had liked the monocular. It was affordable night vision for looking at the wildlife in the backyard at night. Then after about a year of light use it died. I've checked the cap, batteries, everything else I could think of. I had not dropped it. I had turned it off with the lens cover on and set it down on the shelf after the last use. Next use it was blank. I am unimpressed with anything that breaks down after a year.
