First of all let me say I did own a previous bulb projector in which the picture quality was superb. I was very happy with it until about 3 months later the bulb exploded in the projector. The bulbs in these projectors are not cheap and who wants to keep replacing them. So believe me you don't want to deal with an exploding bulb in your home. Well back to the projector. The price point is a little higher than a competitive bulb projector but you get what you pay for. I wanted to wait a while before giving a review. But I'm pleased to say since I've owned this projector and bought it back in April of 2013, it has worked flawlessly with no picture loss. Now I do watch movies on it every now and then on a 120" screen. But the real test is with my son who plays it consistently hours on end with his xbox 360. It may not have the tilt shift function the previous reviewer was talking about but as long as you line it up close to the center of the screen you should have no problem getting it focused exactly where you want it. I had know problem with getting mine adjusted right where I needed it. Mine is ceiling mounted approximately 13 ft away. I had thought I would be losing some picture quality going away from a bulb projector. But in my opinion it is just as vibrant and sharp as the bulb projector I had. Their are many picture options you can change the screen to, which I will not go into but the projector gives you many options to your own liking. I'm telling you this is the wave of the future. I am no expert on projectors but I do believe in good quality products and from what I've seen so far this is no exception. The speakers are ok for a projector but that is no concern to me. If your going to buy a projector like this get a surround sound system. I have a high end one with this projector and its like having your own theatre. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase. Despite what the first reviewer said. I took a chance and bought the projector and I'm glad I did. So far very pleased with the projector and looking forward to many more enjoyable hours with the family. I didn't have time to make a video of my setup. But if their is enough requests maybe I'll put up a video of my home theatre.
