My wife and I are the owners of a private school in Puerto Rico. Last week we were able to participate for the first time of a wireless interator introduction at our school and after being asked $1500.00 for a unit (including 2 days training for a total investment of around $40K for 26 units) I decided to search for it in the internet. Some of our classrooms are equipped with electronic whiteboards, which by the way are quite expensive(over$2K-$3K each) reason why we only have 6 of them and I consider them very useful teaching aids.
Just got the interator today and in less than 30 minutes was able to connect the hardware(Laptop, Projector and Interator) and install on my laptop two of the included software, one for the pointers automatic calibration and the other for a variety of applications(writing and drawing among them. I searched the included mini CD and I believe there are more programs included). After a few minutes of practice projecting on a plain wall and then showing it to some of our teachers they were impressed and motivated. There is no need to invest so much money to obtain great results.
