From the description, you might think that this overpriced metal tube does more than the $10-$15 versions floating around. Yes, I fell for that. Wishful thinking, I suppose.
This adapter does nothing more than allow the physical connection of a Nikon lens to the NEX body. There is no electronic connection at all, so it's little more than an add-on mounting ring with a price way out of line with the other cold mounts.
It would be nice to see the description updated to show the full limitations.
