It has been used with the Canon 580 exii. Recycling time is great for wedding photography where you can't miss any shot. The only thing I didn't like about it is their "battery" that has to be inserted along with the regular batteries in the flash( you have 3 AA batteries and their "battery"). Keep in mind that the Quantum doesn't replace the batteries inside the flash; you need to have both in order to work. Also, make sure you buy the correct cable- Canon/Nikon/etc if you're gonna use it with a speedlite.
