Think Tank Retrospective 5 - Black Review

As with all Think Tank stuff this is a very nice bag. Inconspicuous, a little lighter and more efficient than Crumpler; better protection than Domke and very sturdy. But unlike the Retrospective 10, which holds more than you would ever expect, this little guy holds less, at least if you are thinking about a full SLR. It would be great for an M camera outfit or a 4/3 camera but the description that it holds a 5D is really pushing it. Yes, it's possible to get a 5D or a D700 into this bag but the fit is so tight, I was expecting to hear air rush out. Even my Rebel was pretty snug. It needs to be a tiny bit deeper (front to back) and a tiny bit taller. It fit my 5D with 24TS (lens pointed down) but my D700 with 16-35 was too tall.

Still, a super bag. Please Think Tank, can we have a Retro 7 ????
