Excellent product, fast turnaround and delivery from Adorama via Amazon purchasing to arrive in time for my trip to Europe. And it's true: why spend a small fortune on a fancy lens and have the optics shoot through a cheap, flawed filter? I have always used circular polarizers for daylight and most outdoor photography, and a protective UV or neutral filter for all other shoots. I looked at Hoya and Nikon glass, and found this great deal for the two Nikon filters together, discounted. Crystal clear (without yellow tint as from my cheap polarizer), and lower profile construction. The lens focuses well, despite the filters-- which can be a problem with imperfect glass.
