The Nikon WP - N1 waterproof case for the Nikon 1 J2 camera works like a charm.
We dive primarily in the Northwestern Pacific waters of Washington State and Vancouver, British Columbia. Even with limited visibility this camera takes excellent photos. We've never had trouble with the waterproof case. The large buttons are well-placed and easy to use despite heavy, thick, cold-water gloves.
The white color is quite unique and makes it easy to find in a bucket filled with primarily black housing cameras. It's color also makes it easier to see in murky or dark waters.
Lighting is always tricky. We have attached a strobe; that was easy to connect.
All-around a great product. We were very happy with the purchase of both the Nikon camera and the waterproof case.
We estimate camera in housing plus strobe adds about 5 to 8 pounds to the dive. We adjusted our ballast accordingly. Connect camera to center of my BCD in order to achieve the right buoyancy/balance.
