I think it should be noted, to be entirely fair in light of Daniel Nguyen's review, that the Transcend UDMA-7 600x CF cards are actually FASTER than this Delkin card when it comes to write speed. This card only meets a 1000x criteria for its READ speed, which is 150mb/s. Its write speed, however, is only 50mb/s. Thats certainly fast enough in most situations, and plenty fast to write out 1D X 18mp images and not hamper the 12fps frame rate. In contrast, Transcend's UDMA-7 600x CF cards support an 87mb/s WRITE speed (90mb/s according to manufacturer), and a 90mb/s read speed. The Transcend cards cost half the price, and are still very reliable cards. I own four of the Transcend 600x cards myself, and have used them in rain, sleet, snow, hail, even dropped a couple in puddles and snow...every single one of them is still running strong.

If you really want the fastest WRITE speed, and don't want to spend an ungodly amount of money getting it, try out the Transcend cards. They are cheap but reliable, and incredibly fast (to exemplify...with my Canon 7D, before the latest firmware, with a normal 600x card I could get about 15-16 frames before buffer full. With the Transcend 600x I get about 23-24 frames. Since the 7D latest firmware, with a normal 600x card I get about 24 frames before buffer full. With the Transcend 600x I get 31 frames before buffer full!) If you want reliability, Delkin claims they use higher quality parts in a better manufacturing process, and could very well be more reliable cards. Both manufacturers warranties are very similar in terms of support and execution (at the discretion of the manufacturer.)
