Laser seems to work ok, but the switch, which uses the regular-sized takedown lever (pushed side-to-side) is NOT easy to actuate. This is definitely NOT the thing you need to be messing with in a self-defense situation. It should be easy enough to turn on and off without serious thought. It could have been designed better....but for the laser itself, it is probably the BEST idea out there....no alignments, and it's completely self-contained within the gun...no holster problems. Other drawback is the cost...somewhat extreme these days for a simple RED laser. Also, the batteries have a very short life expectency, and are tricky to replace.
