I can see how this product could work. For me however the scope did not attach to my Nikon M-308 scope. I could not clear the bolt with this attached. It sat so far back on the eyepiece it was never secure. I also attempted to mount this to my 30-06 which I have a nikon prostaff 4-12. The same issue occurred but instead I couldn't clear the hammer on the rifle. The tube that attaches to the eyepiece needs more screw holes to increase the area of use. I did return it after purchasing the software. They were helpful in accepting the return but I did have to pay for shipping both ways and I'm out close to $20
