Well it is built like a tank and made to perform..the unit seems heavy but very sound and the quick release is fluid in design meaning it glides on and off without resistance very nice love the design and love the weight tolerance not only can i feel safe mounting the camera with grip but can put the heavy lens of choice on it without thinking am I going over the tolerance of 10lbs or 20lbs ..this one holds 33lbs easily..all around a nice head will have to try the smaller models on my grip less bodies..this does have the Q5 quick release not the Q2...
