The "spot" beam is a SQUARE not a CIRCLE. This does not look right against their own video's and video's I've seen out of youtube from German reviewist. It's interesting to note that the engineer's in the USA stated that the spot beam should be a CIRCLE. So, I sent it in to LED LENSER for warranty "repair". I believe the provided me with a new MX7R but it also has a SQUARE not a CIRCLE. Am I being picky? These lights cost ~$180+ depending on where you purchase and I purchased from an authorized dealer (moon trail).

I'll upload the pictures that I have. I'll let you judge for yourself. I also purchased a P5R and will be interesting to see if the spot is a SPOT or a SQUARE.
